There are about a billion acronyms in the CompTIA A+ Objectives packet so I've started making flash-cards on Flashcard Machine. I've made them publicly available to anyone that wants to use them. These are the first two set: Acronyms for CompTIA A+ (Part 1) & Acronyms for CompTIA A+ (Part 2). I'll update when I get more up.

Free Options
It's a good idea to use more than one source when studying for the CompTIA A+ but if you're broke like me, you may not want to spend a lot of money on training courses or books. Here are a few of the options I've been using.
- Vuze-A lot of people use this for downloading music but don't forget that you can also download books. Just do a search for CompTIA A+. I've founds some really useful stuff here.
- ProProfs-This website has free online study guides and quizzes to test your progress.
- Professor Messer-This is great if you want to take a break from all the reading! Professor Messer is a natural teacher, he's very easy to understand and best of all he has made all of his A+ training videos available for free!
- The Library-If you don't like to read online the library is a great resource. Just remember to check the publication date! Some libraries are not that great about updating their collections and you don't want to make it all the way home only to realize that your books are 10 years behind. Believe me, I've been there!

First Post
Hello! I am currently studying for the CompTIA A+ certification which, I hope, will be the first of many certifications. I started this blog to keep track of/share information, study tips, books, websites, etc that will aid in this process. Welcome to my blog!
